The video player interface at DailyMotion changed, which caused the original player embedding code I wrote to no longer work. I fixed that today, so DailyMotion video players can be embedded in forum posts again. The procedure to embed a DailyMotion player in a post is exactly the same as for a YouTube video player.

Unfortunately, DailyMotion often plays advertisements before and after videos.

The new DailyMotion video player also supports full screen mode. Click the small rectangle that is left of "DailyMotion" in the lower right-hand corner.

Note that after playing a DailyMotion video the first time, you can click the icon in the lower left-hand corner of the video player and sometimes be able to watch it again without advertising. However, if you instead click the play icon in the popup box that overlays the last frame of a video that has played you will be taken to the DailyMotion website where you will have to watch the advertising again.
