The programme will include:
Guajira, Soleares, Tientos, Alegrías, Tarantas, Farruca, Plaza del Potro, Sevillanas, Siguiriya, Colombiana, Mantilla y Peine, Rondeña, Zambra Mora, Zapateado en Re, Bulerías

The recent concert I gave in Buckingham included Dance, Castanets and Guitar solos but this concert will focus more on solo with some castanets.

Yes, I go to listen to Paco Peña whenever I can.
He is my main influence and I will play some of his pieces at my concert: typically his Alegrías de Córdoba (Plaza del Potro) and his Guajira in D (Mantilla y Peine).
I also like some Sabicas and will play his Zapateado en Re.
Let me know if you are going to any Paco Peña in London as we may meet there. Some of my students are going to Paco in Northampton soon but I cannot as I am working that night.

Maybe one day I will get to the USA and we will meet. As you know I have heard your fabulous flamenco guitars so it is a subject that is on my mind when I can.

Tomas, Best wishes for a great concert and may you have that moment when the audience is moved and feels that emotion that you feel. It would be great if you could visit the US and do a few concerts. The problem is finding a honest and fair promoter. If you do consider Seattle and Portland. Marcos Carmona would be one to offer advice for Seattle. http://www.fanw.org/carmonaflamenco.html . Perhaps Peter could offer advise on Portland. If you do visit Portland or Seattle I would want to know enough in advance so I could make arrangements for travel and give extra care to my health so I could travel. I am very partial to Pena's Alegrías de Córdoba. Again best wishes and may your hands put a song in the heart of your listeners.
