All the old singers naturally are leaving us because of their age but I do hope that it is not the end of an era.......I do hope that there are new singers who continue with el cante.

Is Bernarda's death the end of an era? Perhaps Perrate said it best. “We were the real thing, we hurt ourselves singing, nowadays they hold out their hands before opening their mouths.”
