Flamenco Playing Test

Keep your eyes focused on the dot in the center of the image below while you move your head closer and farther from the screen. If the circles rotate in opposite directions you are not playing enough flamenco.

Yep - it's a fair cop.

Outside ring moves a little, but the inside stands still for me. Bear in mind I lost one of my balance nerves due to virus, so the way I see motion and distance is abnormal.

You are obviously assuming that my testing method doesn't actually work. Maybe you are one of the few who plays enough flamenco???

I am sure the testing method works and it reminds me of the old strobe disc we used for adjusting turntables at broadcast radio stations. Because of my hands getting worse I am not playing enough flamenco, so that isn't it. My eyes see it but because of the inner ear malfunction on the right side (loss of inferior vestibular nerve) my brain cannot detect the inner ring movement. Some doctors use a similar test to get an idea what further test may be necessary to establish inner ear malfunction. This test gives a rough idea of malfunction during linear acceleration.

Maybe this test is indicating that I play enough flamenco, just have compas issues.
