In case you are also interested in classical guitars, this is Rory Kenner in Peter's shop playing a maple body, cedar top, Peter Tsiorba classical guitar that is based on a Santos Hernandez design. -Bob

Peter's flamenco and classical guitars both sound wonderful to me.

I sure like the Santos "classical" maple. The tone is very nice for Brazilian classical such as the Villa Lobos Prelude #1 that Rory played. With proper adjustments I think this maple guitar would make a superb flamenco. Here is one of Peter's where you can hear the bass growl that is so important in flamenco.

I agree, they are marvelous sounding guitars. If only I could play like those players! Maybe someday?

It seemed more appropriate to describe my recent visit with Peter Tsiorba over in the Taller Flamenco forum, because it relates primarily to guitar making and repair. See My Visit with Peter Tsiorba.

It has been a while since I was in the U.K. I am not sure when that might happen again, but when it does I might "hit you up" for an invite!
