Morente R.I.P
I have read on the El País newspaper website that Enrique Morente has died today Monday 13 December 2010 at 17.00 hours.
Morente had been in the Madrid hospital Clínica la Luz for several days due to complications leading to a coma during an operation on the oesophagus.
I do not know what opinions will be of the innovative work of this cantaor but I felt it respectful to record this fact and in my personal case to express a sadness at the passing away of a legendary flamenco cantaor.

Thank you for your memory of Enrique Morente. I greatly admire his art and feel that his passing is a great loss to cante flamenco.
