But neither of these are the "pure" cabales I posted about which on the original Hispavox stay in the "cambio key" throughout


I wish there was a video of Perico Sr playing the "puro cabales", but if such exist it hasn't surfaced yet. I wonder if any of Sr's playing was ever filmed?

Jacinto, kudos for refreshing my wandering memory by mentioning the El Chaqueta cabal on the Westminster/Hispavox anthology. I had completely forgotten its existence. While revisiting that volume, I listened again also to Pepe el de la Matrona's soleares and Rafael's siguiriyas, both so well done. Thanks for reminding me!
