I certainly agree with the designating of Agujetas as The Last Great Flamenco Singer. He is the real deal. And the fact that, in appearance, he reminds me of the great film actor Jack Palance--the same "don't mess with me" demeanor--adds to the mystique. Agujetas sings bulerias very, very well also, along with his mighty soleares and siguiriyas. A huge presence in el cante.
