For Sale: Jeff Sigurdson 2010 Blanca

Postby elbabilonio » 12 Jun 2011, 23:02

This is a guitar that I ordered from Jeff myself. A true blanca with traditional woods and French polish finishing all around. Hand made by a distinguished Canadian Luthier. I would like to sell it since I can't afford to keep two guitars.

Year: 2010
Scale: 655mm
Nut Width: 53mm
Top: Spruce
Back&Sides: Cypress
Tuners: Traditional Flamenco Peghead
Finish: French Polish all around
Condition: Usual usage scratches; no structural issues (see attached pictures)
Comes with a black carrying case.

Price: $1900 (including shipping in North America)

Here are links to some sample pieces that I played myself (i.e., don't expect a Paco performance ;)

Nice looking and sounding guitar and well worth the low price. Nice playing also.

Thanks, Sam! I showed this guitar to my teacher who plays professionally here in Montreal. He really liked it, saying that it has a real Flamenco sound. He added that he would have bought it had he not already owned a guitar that he likes. Some players are afraid of the pegs, but I personally like them as well as the French polish; very old school! I'm always afraid of liking the sound of a guitar without pegs :)
