Lorenzo Pimentel & Sons

Postby SamC » 11 Feb 2010, 15:44

I had the pleasure to meet Lorenzo in Albuquerque in the early 70's and play on his flamencos. I still have the brochure of his guitars he gave me with the price of $600 handwritten under his flamenco model. Needless to say his prices have increased and his sons are also making great flamencos. Only regret is I didn't buy one. I was making my first guitar when I visited him and he was most helpful and knowledgeable. He had just built his new shop on the outskirts of town, but I am sure it has built up all around him now.

Here is a brochure that Lorenzo gave me when I visited their new shop around 1972. You will note their prices have risen "slightly" over the years.
