Re: Peg Head Blanca

Hola Amigo Ram
I have a peg head blanca for sale.
It is 1977 Gerundino.
It is so good I cannot find words to describe it.
But that is not because it has wood pegs but because it is a Gerundino and for some people the 1970’s was his golden period.
So I would say buying a flamenco guitar is about really understanding flamenco guitars.
Good luck with what you seek.
Un saludo

Tomás

I have not chosen my Peg Head Blanca yet. We are fortunate to have such talented Luthiers that are makeing exceptional instruments here in North America. It's like being a kid in a candy store. (Stephen, Peter, Andy, Salvador, Franscisco and.........)

I will continue my search.......

Ed, talk to Jeff about the peg head questions. I had a good chat with him about just this comparison of traditional pegs and mechanical pegs. He has worked really hard on figuring out the taper and peg adjustment issues. It sounds as though he has worked it out--to the point where I'm very interested in having him make me a peg head of his design.
