These are all very good comments. I agree that the small lesser known makers are producing a better instrument for less money than the big names, even the big name makers that still work individually. I am seeing that many of the smaller makers are getting away from producing models to producing unique instruments for a certain musician. For example Tomas might not like certain things about my guitar made to my liking. The beauty of what many of our lesser known makers are doing is their ability to make changes to please different preferences. For example my guitar was braced in the humidity that it would be played in and since the makers normal humidity was much higher, his bracing room was dehumidified to match mine during this process. I never realized how much difference this could make. I could not get this buying a model where every guitar is very similar.
