This is just the ones I am aware of that make or have made flamenco guitars. There are many others that make Classical and may make flamencos, but don't advertise as such. I am sure I missed several as many don't advertise or have webpages. If you know of more, please add them to the list. If the list included all guitar makers, flamenco, classical, steel string, etc., it would easily go over a thousand.

Monica Esparza, San Clemente, CA
Jason Wolverton, Laguna Beach, CA

My preferred "go-to" guitar is an Esparza negra.

Marcus, I added your name to the list. Do you have a webpage? Tell us more about your flamencos. I am always interested in seeing photos and hearing sound clips.

Hi Sam,
I've been a full time luthier since 1998. I started out making flamenco guitars, but classical guitars soon became my mainstay since there were a lot more players looking for them here.
I've made more blancas in the past, but the last few flamenco guitars I've made were negras.
I made a guitar for a good player in Calgary, Alberta a few years ago named Holly Blazina, so my guitars have had some good exposure in that city, as well as here in Victoria, Canada.
I play flamenco myself but I'm certainly no pro at it. I've been meaning to take lessons (for years) but my guitar making and family pretty much suck up my life.

Back to guitars. I have always used the traditional woods: cypress, rosewood, and spruce for my guitars. Personally, I like the weight and feel of a peghead over machines, but I find most players want machine tuners these days.
I'm confident I could make great flamenco guitars with cypress, maple, walnut, or many other woods, but the traditional ones work great too, and that's what most people want.

Oh yeah, my web-site is www.dominelliguitars.com
Cheers,
-Marcus
