My teaching videos on daily motion

Postby TomasJimenez » 19 Mar 2010, 20:24

Hola Amigos

Recently some of my students like to put videos of my teaching on a system called Daily Motion which is similar to You Tube.
I do not have a page there but if you put my name you can find their films. :geek:
For the moment we have studied Bulerías, Tangos and Fandangos but the Fandangos is played very badly by me  because the student had just made a really funny joke and I could not concentrate!
Anyway I hope it will be of some help to any who would enjoy it.

Saludos

Tomas -

Love the way you play - no tricks, no nonsense - just great straight flamenco. Incidentally, that guitar sounds great - which luthier made it, and what year?

Tomas, Glad to see you have your instructional videos online again. The Pablo Requena is still sounding great. I always enjoyed watching your old Wednesday class videos and getting ideas from them. I was sorry to see them disappear. Glad you students put these up.

Hola Ramón
Muy amable,..se agradece.
The really good news is I keep hearing from people who want to study and play straight flamenco. A lot of people like flamenco flamenco!
Will be interesting to see the future.
The guitar is by Pablo Requena and it is year 2005.
The more recent guitars he has made for me are quite a lot better. Deeper and aggressive in bass, very strong to the complete top note. Sad but sometimes gentle and beautiful.
Oh and very easy to play with very comfortable neck and string pulsación. Not hard not soft just correct.
