Sam,
Ole!! Very nice, forceful rendition of a solea. The chromatic run is quite wild, but I like it.
As an annotation to my previous video, I am posting the complete tremolo falseta Sabicas played in "Bronce gitano". I like it very much (since I learned it more than 20 years ago) for its timeless combination of simplicity and grace, and saw it being played on youtube in a relatively recent performance by Enrique Morente.

Ole Roland! Very well done. Beautiful! In recent years my tremolo has never been smooth or defined enough to play this. I saw Sabicas play this in concert in the 70's. Beautiful and timeless.

One of my regrets in life is that I never saw him play. I was living in Southern France in the late 80's and missed his Arles concert shortly before he died.

Since you brought it up, here it is for those that haven't heard it. Shows many variations on the basic melody we are discussing in this thread. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6L6fyHH ... re=related

Hello,

Here are 2 propositions, each time played widly then slow and while tapping the beat so you can get the exact rythm i got in mind, cause obviously i lack the technic to execute these lines properly :). Also my mic cut while recording randomly, sorry for that.

An other still kinda based on the same melodic line.

Since i can't play fast arpeggio, i halve the tempo for the first 3 beat, after which it speeds up, introducin a nice rythm dilation i think ? :) Tell me what you think.
