I live in Massachusetts but I was born and raised in New Mexico, I am currently working a full time job while taking classes with a Luthier in New Hampshire on how to build guitars. I wanted to make a Cejilla that would come with the guitars I build and noticed there were a few people here who use the Cejilla and build their own as well. I was looking for any information on the construction of them.

After spending some time on the board I have to say that I really love the topics, the sound files, video and general information, I’m very happy to have found this place!

I’m trying to learn. I started off with watching video of Segovia and imitating his hand movements / then I ran into a classical guitar player who told me Segovia wasn’t flamenco and that I should listen to Paco de Lucia / which I have done and it’s just been watch imitate and practice, practice, practice.
