Since I retired I have been exploring my Spanish roots. My mother was from Cataluña, Spain and my father was English from Canada. I was born and raised in California, USA. I have never been to Spain but plan on going next summer. I was raised mostly by my spanish grandmother who spoke half in spanish, half in english, and all with a Brooklyn accent.
I am studying the flamenco guitar and relearning spanish. My guitar is a Japanese brand made in a remote region of China. It's a CG171CS and knows more about flamenco than I do. I'm happy with it for now.
I hope to learn much from the members of this foro.
Gracias, Arturo
