I'm the manager of and singer in the only flamenco troupe in all of upstate New York (that means, the state that exists north of New York City), Puente Flamenco http://PuenteFlamenco.com. We all come from Syracuse, in the central part of the state, much closer to Canada than to New York City. Given that we are so far from other flamencos, this online forum will be a godsend. Do let us know if you're ever coming through our area, would love to have you join us. We have done quite a number of shows in the year and a half that we've been together and we have a monthly gig at a tapas bar. We have a full house every time, so reservations are required. And that's good news for us and, we hope, for flamenco in upstate New York.
