If you want to copy an avatar you have used on another board to the Old School Flamenco Foro, the first step is to copy the avatar image file to your computer hard disk. The exact steps to do that vary slightly with different computer operating systems. If you are using Windows XP, Windows XP Pro, Windows XP Media Center, or Vista, do the following:

1) Right-click your avatar at the other board.

2) Click "Save Image As ..." on the pop-up menu.

3) Navigate to the hard drive folder where you want to save a copy of the avatar image file.

4) Click the "Save" button.

The procedure is the same for Windows 2000 except in Step 2 select "Save Picture As ..."

Let me know the version of your operating system if you are using a Macintosh computer or the Distribution and Version if you are using a Linux computer and I will post a step-by-step procedure to use with it.

Follow the steps below to upload your avatar to this site after it has been saved on your computer hard disk:

1) Click the "Control" icon located near the top of any Old School Flamenco Foro page to open the User Control Panel.

2) Click the "Profile" tab.

3) Click the "Edit avatar" menu selection on the left side.

4) Click the "Browse" button.

5) Navigate to the folder where you saved the avatar image file on your computer hard disk.

6) Select the avatar file name and click the "Open" button.

7) Click the "Submit" button in the User Control Panel.

8) Click the "Index" icon near the top of the page to go back to the Foro.

Your avatar will now display wherever you post messages at this site.
