The idea of these individual palos discussions is to create an organized archive so questions, advice, audio or video demo clips, tab or music notation, etc., can readily be found in the future. Thank you, Sam! I hadn't seen this one on youtube before. Tomas Pavon is one of my 2 or 3 all-time favourite cantaores of solea. I add two more videos. The first is Pastora's version of some of the same soleares (I believe). The second are soleares performed by Arcangel, a contemporary singer from Huelva who is clearly influenced by Tomas Pavon. I like his style very much and would be interested in hearing your opinion.

FB, Sorry I overlooked your reply. I like very much the two versions you posted. I think Arcangel captures the old Solea sound very well. Here is one from 1922.

Thanks, Sam. That's what solea sounded almost 100 years ago. Quite exotic but great. The recording quality is amazing. A wonderful document.
