Even his sound hole cutter is a work of art.

Peter Tsiorba is an amazing photographer as well as guitar maker. Not only that, I learned while visiting him a few months ago that he also is a toolmaker and that he made many of the guitar-making tools that he uses. I remember discussing the circle-cutter in the photo you posted. I think that is a tool that he made, but we discussed many things while I was there and my memory of that detail may be wrong.

Incidentally, FedEx estimates that my new Peter Tsiorba blanca guitar will arrive Friday, February 5th. Unfortunately, my wife and I had already planned a trip to Idaho this coming weekend, so it may be a few days before I will be able to play it.

I am looking forward to hearing sound clips. If the quality of your blanca is anything like the quality of the negra Peter Tsiorba recently finished it will be terrific.
