hey sam,
thanks for the comments! yes this is my own combination of falsettas. love the letras!

before i post the answers to the guessing game, can you take a look at this hole and tell me if it looks cleaner, more even, etc?

It looks more even on the spacing of the small holes from the large one. I would prefer a diamond shape myself with purling, but that would require refinishing. Maybe one round hole with a miniature matching rosette. You may have missed this guitar made with a sound port by Peter. peter's guitar is amazing looking. honestly, it's one the best looking guitars i have ever seen.

here, i glued on some simple reinforcement just in case.

On the guressing game the same as Sam - corked second time round. Seemed more mellow second time. Thought the golpe might sound louder but I didn't notice any difference. Can't comment on technique, can only say I enjoyed listening.

Would be interesting to hear something with powerful ras. How about a nice Tangos :D

The ports surprise me as I would have imagined one would apply a patch on the inside prior to drilling and the patch would be the reinforcement, but it looks pretty clean cut the way it is. Interesting experiment and I guess if builders go this way fairly soon the ports will seem quite normal.

im too lazy to go back in and add reinforcement but i do think it needs a tad more.

now for a tangos next!
