Sam, did you create your own plantilla or are you going to follow the design of Santos Hernandez or one of the other famous makers?

For size and scale basically the 1933 Santos 650 scale. I like the Santos size and feel. I will make some changes to the bracing.

Sam, is it safe to presume that "this" project got shelved indefinitely, in favor of Peter's masterwork?

Just discussed with Peter a few minutes ago about shipping him all the wood and having him make this guitar. I scrapped the neck as it wasn't to my liking and got some awesome western larch boards from high elevation for the neck. The wood was just to nice and well aged for me to mess up and also my inner ear problem keeps me from working on anything like this 6 months of the year. Also my shop is very small and I cannot control the humidity or temperature very well. So I placed these fine tone woods in the master hands for yet another all Oregon wood guitar.
