Thank you for compliments. This is not me playing, my skills as a player as not as refined. The musician is Mark Ferguson, who lived in Spain, and plays flamenco in the Portland area. He also recorded some albums as well. He currently plays a guitar I made for him.

This particular guitar is basically Torres-based, my own interpretation with influences from Santos Hernandez.

wow. what a crisp sound!
i see from that picture that there is a guitar with a very light colored fingerboard. is that maple? any tonal/playability difference?

Yes, there is a very pale guitar I once made. I was snowed-in, Portland was covered by almost two feet of snow, and almost the entire city was shut down for a couple of days. All that white blanket inspired me to finish one guitar in the "white". I used birds eye maple fingerboard and German hornbeam bridge. Here are a few photos and a video. It ended up having an outstanding flamenco sound and character. Scale length is a little shorter, at 640mm.
