Bulerias falseta, mostly Moraito

Postby Flamencoblues » 22 Sep 2010, 01:16

Hola!
I just joined yesterday and am still a bit disoriented. The link below is by way of introducing myself musically. It is my understanding of a buleria falseta by Moraito (acquired by ears/eyes), with a changed ending. What do you think?

Very well done! I enjoyed your other utube videos and hear a lot of Juan Serrano's falsetas. I especially liked your Solea and the speed you played it. In my opinion we hear to many playing Solea at high speeds and it losses its emotion. I gave up years ago trying to do any Sabicas or 70's Paco Cepero.

Also posted your video so it appears on the foro. Click on the video tab, then paste your utube url between the brackets and it will appear. One can always click twice to go to it on utube and see your other videos.

Sam,
Thank you very much for your encouragement, for posting my video, and for your explanation of how to do it. To be honest, I never studied Juan Serrano and don't know his style very well; I guess his influence may have slipped in through Juan Martin, and various accompanists of cante.
