First my sincere apologies to Dr. Juan Serrano for destroying his beautiful Farruca from his book, "Flamenco Guitar BASIC Technique." The ending was modified by me, but it sounds lousy today with the absents of a thumb nail and pinky nail. I was recording my eclectic Alegrias and trying to improve it when I became frustrated and decided to play something else. I started playing this Serrano Farruca that I haven't practiced for over a year. It is full of mistakes, off compas at times, tragic tremolo, awful arpeggios, dead notes, wrong notes, etc. I tried practicing it and recording it again ... it became worse, so after several tries, I decided to share the first one with you as I had indicated in previous post I would share this Farruca with you someday. I think years ago I told Nigel I would give it a go. Now it is done, not very good, but off my list.
Warning do not listen to before or after meal time. Best to listen to when you are not alert. The Farruca and Sevillinas are not palos I plan to have on my daily repertoire. My goal is to be able to play very well and on compas four minutes of Soleares, Siguiriyas, Alegrias, Bulerias, Tangos, and Taranta. With short rest in between that would be 30 minutes of playing. By the time I accomplish this, maybe there will be live online Juergas I can play for. Maybe on my 90th birthday. Farruca no bueno.mp3

live online juergas - I think you could be onto something. keep up the good work.
Next for me a solea and I'm going to leave the Alegrias simmering.
Anyone out there want to join us? Feel free no matter what level It's all just good fun
Thanks for the kind words, Nigel. I wish I had the chance to play for a good dancer and also a good singer. I find understanding the Solea will help the Alegrias. They are the same compas and the same technique on the remate just different keys as a general rule.
Yes, anyone feel free to join in regardless of level of expertise.
