so here is a solea played with one hand. it's not perfect but maybe i'll come up with something more interesting and work on it more next time.

keep in mind i still had stitches in and couldn't feel half of my ring and pinky finger at this point, so take it easy on me!

Ole! You see Nigel you poke sticks at a sleeping dog and he comes up barking and bites both of us.

The ligato Solea was outstanding. You have a lot a strength in your left hand. Both recordings were great and sounded like you have been doing some serious work in those Graf Martinez books you bought from me. Your guitar has a nice bright flamenco sound. What make, etc., is it?

I think you now need to email Bob the admin for a name change .... Una Mano!

Leo, Wanted to add you have a nice rasqueado and your thumb work is great. You also put a lot of feeling in your playing. Very well done! Hope your hand heals back to normal.

thank you for the kind words, sam! it is really encouraging. the graf martinez books are amazing. it was my primary source of learning. i'll go through them and finish them when my hand heals. i was just starting bulerias in volume 2. i'm really glad i got them. and at such a great price!

the guitar im using is actually an old hand me down classical guitar. i have to work extra hard to make it sound flamenco. after lowering the action, playing nothing but flamenco on it, listening to nothing but flamenco in front of it, it finally obeys!

Leo

that was great stuff. Despite having lots to do you've inspired me to practise today - right now in fact :)

But I still think you should offer some cante ;)
