I am not very familiar with this palo. Your playing sounds nice. The recording wasn't too good, but it gave it a sound like it was an old 78 rpm vinyl record that gave it an old school sound. Your picato sounds good and well controlled. All in all I thought this was very good playing and I enjoyed it. As you develop your picato, remember to give equal time to thumb practice. A strong and accurate thumb is very important in flamenco, especially old school. With your age and guitar playing experience in consideration, I will say this was outstanding.

Sarkin,

TomasJimenez also wasn't able to upload a music file, but I was able to upload it for him without any difficulty. To help me determine why some members have that problem:

  • Do you remember exactly what happened when you tried to upload the file to the Old School Flamenco Foro?

  • Does your computer have a Windows, Linux, or Mac operating system? Which version?

  • Which web browser and version were you using?

I just posted step-by-step instructions to upload and attach a file to a post. Please follow those steps and let me know whether that procedure worked for you. See: http://www.oldschoolflamenco.com/help-f16/uploading-file-attachments-t162.html

HTTP Error Code 500 simply means the server was unable to fill a request. Unfortunately, that doesn't tell us anything about the cause of the problem. I will contact you via PM about this.
