Tomás Jiménez Seguiriyas Lessons

Postby Bob » 10 Dec 2010, 15:54

The seguiriyas is high on my list of favorite palos. Anyone who is wanting to learn the rhythmic patterns and characteristic motifs of the seguiriyas will find these two Tomás Jiménez lessons clear and easy to follow.

Tomas -

Nice traditional Siguiriyas. What guitar are you playing in the Siguiriyas video?

Hola Amigos
Bob: thank you for posting my work.
Ram and Castillo: I am glad if my contributions can be useful and certainly I will add more soon on YouTube or daily motion.
Ramón: The guitar is by Pablo Requena. I do not know how it sounds on your computer but it is rather percussive and aggressive with quejido.
Saludos

I very much enjoyed these two videos. The camera work nicely shows both hands.

Hola Tim
Thank you so much for taking a moment to comment.
It is very important for me to know that my work can be useful for people.
I have now put all these videos on Youtube at tomasjimenezguitar.
When I have some free time I also have to add a video about tremolo and some other subjects.
I look forward to hearing you also if you feel you wish to upload.
Muchas gracias
Tomás
