Dance Notation

Postby solendogan » 18 Sep 2008, 01:04

As guitarists we use tabs or scores, i have been searching for a dance notation too
It is hard to explain the movement, arms, foot and direction/dimension at the same time

Do anyone know any notations used?
I asked my teacher she says there is not a good way to notate it

I think that classical ballet has a system of annotation so it might be possible to adapt it or maybe they know of another for flamenco.

Yeesh. I think I need to get to grips with playing the music before I start sitting down with dancers
